Rava Upma
Breakfast Receipe: Quantity : Breakfast/snack for 4 people Ingredients: 2 cup fine Rava 4-5 cups of water 1 Carrot - chopped into small pieces 1 big onion - chopped finely 1/4 cup green peas 1 medium size green pepper- chopped finely 1 inch ginger - minched/chopped very finely 4 small green chillies- cut into small pieces Urad dal - to temper Mustard seeds- to temper Curry leaves - 1 full strand Hing - to temper 4 tbsps homemade ghee Salt Jeera - to temper Freshly grated coconut - garnish. Fnely chopped fresh coriander - garnish Procedure: 1. Heat kadai and roast rava on a medium flame . Stir continuously so that the rava does not get over roasted . Roast till it turns light brown. You will smell fresh roasted aroma as an indicator that it is almost done . Remove from flame and spread on a plate to let it cool . 2.
